How often?
I’ve done my care plan, I’ve seen you, I feel great and my problem has gone, should I still get adjusted?
If so how often should I get adjusted?
The short answer to this is how good do you want to feel?
Chiropractic should be performed on a regular basis in order for a patient to achieve the most benefits.
This ideaology should not be confused with a sense of strict requirement. One common misconception about chiropractic is that it somehow becomes "addictive," to the point where patients physically cannot stop chiropractic once started. This is completely false and only serves to scare people away from a very helpful and safe treatment plan.
Many patients can find benefits from just one chiropractic session; the reason it's recommended to go back on a regular basis is to maintain this sense of wellbeing over time.
For example, eating one healthy meal isn't going to magically clean up your entire digestive system and diet. You need to make healthy eating a regular habit in order to truly gain benefits from it. This same logic can and should be brought to discussions of chiropractic care.
Depending on your specific health needs, you may benefit best from fortnightly chiropractic sessions. Other people find that going in once a month is all that is needed for ideal benefits.
